Synopsis
At her birthday celebration, Princess Aurora is endowed with all the gifts one can desire. The evil fairy Carabosse, upset for not having been invited, condemns the young princess with a curse that only a charming prince's kiss can break.
Presentation
The Bolshoi's glittering fairytale ballet accompanied by Tchaikovsky’s gorgeous score fills the stage with no shortage of beauty and enchantment. Ballet stars Olga Smirnova as the young Princess, Lilac Fairy Yulia Stepanova and Semyon Chudin as the Prince, lead Marius Petipa's classical masterpiece in Grigorovich's choreography.
